Injection Moulding Production Manager

RPC M&H Plastics Ellough

You will have worked in a similar role for 3 years and have experience of injection moulding processes as well as experience in managing a department workforce. You will ensure efficient utilisation of tooling and machines to maximise OEE with a strong focus on safety. Providing support for Sales, Planning, Product Design and Toolroom to maximise efficiency and performance of the department. Maintaining active communication in a reactive environment in all aspects to ensure effective communication between the production area; senior management, as well as other areas of the business. Attending the weekly review meeting with Development; Planning and General Manager and providing monthly efficiency reports encompassing all aspects of the department.

Injection Moulding Technicians

You will preferably have Injection Moulding experience (although any plastic processing experience would be advantageous) and / or have proven experience working within a technical (engineering and/ or motor vehicle) environment. You will ensure that optimum processes are established and maintained and be able to demonstrate high levels of technical competence. You will be required to undertake Mould changes, Colour changes and basic PPM on tooling and IM machines; carry out PPM and operation of automated assembly equipment and at all times must adhere to Health & Safety regulations.

Resource Controllers

RPC M&H Plastics Ellough

Reporting to the Production Managers and interfacing with Human Resources you will be responsible for preparing the weekly manpower plan and allocating shifts and maintaining the casual employee pool. You will provide support and assistance to new employees from induction to on the job training and allocation of PPE. You will assist with recording OEE and providing stats and information on production.

Process Quality Controllers

Working on shifts and reporting to the Quality Manager you will ensure inspection, packing, testing and identification of product, meeting all quality, environmental, customer, and health & safety requirements. You will be responsible for the handing over of ongoing problems and all other issues relating to Quality. To ensure highest quality standards are maintained, and work to company policy of zero defects. To follow ISO9001:2008 (BSI) and BRC Standards and all company unit standards and procedures.

Planner

RPC M&H Plastics Ellough

You will be responsible for the production planning of the Injection Moulding hall. You will provide accurate forecasting and planning services to facilitate the management of production, demand and supply requirements. Working with the Production Manager you will actively contribute to defining and continually improving best practice across site as well as optimising customer service levels and product availability by managing stock profiles and providing optimised production plans on both a short and long-term horizon. Clear and confident communication skills are crucial when working with commercial team members of the business.

Materials Scheduler

RPC M&H Plastics Ellough

Analyse raw materials requirements, purchased parts, and other items related to the manufacture of plastic bottles. Key tasks will include: Converting requirements into orders of conventional sizes and quantities whilst considering factors such as existing inventories, unavoidable waste; schedules deliveries based on production forecasts, material substitutions, storage and handling facilities; prepare purchase orders and communicate these with the suppliers; maintain data integrity within the ERP system; perform regular cycle counts and adjust inventory when necessary.

Materials Controller

Key tasks for this role include: taking delivery of goods and bulk supplies; providing accurate records of stock movements; maintaining good housekeeping of the goods in area; liaison with all departments in regards to stock discrepancies; daily replenishment of Kanban areas; assisting the wider site with movement requests.

Quality Officer

Applicants must be competent in the use of Microsoft Office and be able to demonstrate responsive decision making. The main duties involve leading production related quality concerns, supporting the Quality Manager with nonconformance management, ensuring quality systems and standards are maintained and generating data analysis to support our customers.

Maintenance Engineers

RPC M&H Plastics Ellough

Double Days and Day shifts available - Qualified in at least one core discipline (Electrical or Mechanical) and a strong understanding of a second. Working in a team to deliver sustainable preventative maintenance and reactive and efficient breakdown service on operational equipment. You will work to a set program of preventative and autonomous maintenance and be reactive to breakdowns as required by Shift Team Leader.

Toolmakers / Toolroom Engineers

RPC M&H Plastics Ellough

Qualified / Experienced Toolmaker (preferably Injection Moulding) to carry out mould servicing and repair to the required standard and timing to ensure tools are available for production on schedule. To carry out minor tooling repairs, modification of ancillary parts and manufacture of tooling items as required. To liaise with external contractors regarding external refurbishments and parts manufacture as required. To complete tooling records detailing all servicing and repair work carried out.

Tooling Preparation and Servicing

Proven experience working within a technical (engineering and/ or motor vehicle) environment. Ensuring Moulds are serviced and ready for production as per production plan. Visually inspecting tools, checking production last offs and passing on relevant information to Toolmakers / Tooling Engineers. Ensuring all spares are available and levels are maintained. Ensuring the Tool Service System/records are up to date. Assisting Tooling Engineers with servicing and repairs.

Project & Design Engineer

To fulfil this role a Design or Engineering qualification is essential and a CAD qualification is desirable. You will design plastic packaging components to customer requirements, within manufacturing capability and taking into account environmental factors. Design work will be created in 2 and 3D using Company Computer Aided Design package. You will liaise with sub-contract tooling manufacturers to ensure moulds are built to company requirements and coordinate development projects to ensure on time, to specification delivery of new products. Experience in one or more: Injection Moulding, Extrusion Blowmoulding, Injection Stretch Blowmoulding product and mould design would be advantageous.

Part Time Health & Safety Assistant

Health & Safety is a key requirement of all roles in the business and as a minimum you will be required to hold a full IOSH certificate preferably gained within a production environment. You will have a good knowledge of Risk Assessments and COSHH but training will be provided on company systems. Key requirements will be leading the Company’s H&S programme and bringing together all the elements across the departments. You will be confident, approachable and able to drive initiatives to realise results. This role is being offered on either 3 full days or 5-part days each week totalling 25 hours.

This role involves pro-active management of accounts, providing quotations, managing product developments from point of enquiry through to successful fulfilment. It is also essential to manage the account in respect of Delivery and Quality performance criteria, liaising closely with the internal Managers of the business to achieve high performance.

Pre-Press Mac Operator (full time, permanent)

We are looking to appoint a Pre-Press Mac Operator to work within our Artworks team, transforming customer supplied designs into production ready artwork for silk screen, dry offset and flexographic printing onto products.

The successful candidate will have proven Mac software skills, be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and ideally Adobe Creative suite, plus experience in a fast moving pre-press/printing environment would be an advantage.  A logical approach to artwork preparation in order to produce accurate artwork is also essential along with strong communication skills.
